The Gandhi of 21st Century is fighting for erradication of Corruption.
This move picked up momentum, but looks like the virul cells(Corruption) are strong enough to give a tough fight, and posing a biggest ever threat, in front of this, Terrorism is not so big.
Today the situation is like, for any work to be done from any Government office in the country, the common man is scary to approach the officials or I would say fed up with lousy response we used to get for any request, so middle men are prospering and corruption spreads faster.
From birth to death in India(I mean birth certificate to death certificate) corruption is universal. We are so used to this bribe, that we dont feel that is a crime, it has become part of our life.
In countries like Singapore, if anybody wants to contest election, their candidature will be evaluated by an independent committee, upon committee's recommendation only their nomination will be accepted, they have strong check point at the entry level.
We have our media totally biased and may be corrupt!!!.....they talk 24X7 about and against corruption, but they are selective in choosing the issue....Very pathetic.
Our Parliamentarians are very conscious of parliamentary process and will never go against the protocols (Thats how they sound for passing Jan lokpal bill).
Anna Hazare is sacrificing himself for the welfare of our future generation....Long Live Anna..... We need 1.2 billion Anna's to revive the nation.
Jai Hind.
