As we are a budding nation..(dont know how long we will be in this category) We need to be extra cautious about conserving power...
India's population is very young(average age is less than 35).. and future generation going to be highly vibrant and innovative, we need to leave something for the tomorrow...
We, the responsible citizens should not waste the subsidized power, this way we will be committing double sin/crime...you name it. Predominantly todays power we get at home is generated from Thermal plants(from coal)... very less power is produced from Wind, Water and Solar...
There are many initiatives from the Government side, like slab based tariff,as this will discourage people from consuming more power. Many NGO's propagating the awareness for energy conservation.... I would suggest, by being power consumption consciousness, one can gain multiple advantage- 1.Reduction in energy bills, 2. can take the pride of contributing to the social cause...
