This is year beginning, so its not too late to take a resolution on food habits for the year...
I have something to share with you all....
In Indian(South) food system the rice content is more and sometime its abnormal.... if you look at the complexion and physique of western ethnic region...they are pretty looking and hansome, if not all these qualities at least not with pot belly, extra growth, handicapped and so on... why I am referring west is...they have good diet system, they take lot of green vegetables, very minimum oil consumption and of coarse their weather also contributing for their complexion...
We Indians are crazy on junk food... we take lot of fat content and cholesterol as junk... somosa, bajji(we have invented 100's of variety in bajji), bonda, bakkoda...this list is endless....
We Indians take more vegetables than any other ethnic group..but we consume not as green, we are frying it in oil and adding masala and chill to have taste, in this process the vegetable looses its good quality, actually its not serving the intended purpose.....
We need to have more amount of fiber to increase our short term memory, as our country is hot, our diet shouldn't be too hot(dont go to andhra mess!!!!).
We every one should take a resolution that...."This year 2008, I will avoid Visiting any Hospital for illness or taking any pills" (for those who are <35), and those who are 35 +, they can frame their resolution based on their present health condition.

Indians started taking junk foods of late.
We have variety of foods everywhere in this land.
Invasion of culture started this.
